    Sign and Symptoms:

    Yellowish green indefinite areas on the upper surface of leaves, accompanied by brown to purplish velvety fungus growth on the underside.

    Etiology:

    When the atmosphere is humid, the fruit, stems, blossoms, and leaves may be affected. Because this fungus produces a great profusion of spores, the disease spreads rapidly, especially in the humid atmosphere of poorly ventilated plastic greenhouses.
